The Parable Was Never About A Reformed Sinner

For years you have been told this parable is about a wayward son who sinned, repented, and was forgiven. A story about confession and second chances.
That is not what Jesus was teaching.
If He wanted to teach sin management, He would have told a simpler story. He did not need three characters — a prodigal son, a running Father, and a furious older brother — to say: confess and God will forgive you. He could have said that in a sentence.
He chose three characters deliberately. Because He was not teaching about behaviour. He was teaching about identity.
Look at the two parables immediately before this one — the lost coin and the lost sheep. In both, the value of what was lost never changed. The coin was worth exactly the same under the furniture as it was in the woman's hand. The sheep was just as precious wandering in the wilderness as it was safely in the fold.
The son's value never changed either. Not when he demanded his inheritance. Not in the pig pen. Not covered in shame. The Father never withdrew. The son simply forgot who he was in the far country.
Every single moment of separation existed solely in the son's mind. And that made him live beneath his divine calling and purpose.

There is a kind of hunger that everyday Christianity cannot satisfy. For most of my life I was unsatisfied with the gospel and the messaging I received. There was a deep ache inside my heart that knew there must be more to God than the standard going around. I was hungry for God Himself — the actual entity whose heart I wanted to know, not the theological construct I had been handed.
I went looking for God everywhere the church would not approve. I studied and read through psychology and neuroscience, through ancient wisdom traditions and mystery school teachings, through every system that offered an opinion about God.
I was met with emptiness — scraps that promised to reveal but could never truly match up with Scripture as a complete whole. Every time I would return to Scripture and ask God to reveal His face to me.

The cost of following truthThis journey cost me everything. But despite the high price, I could not stop. My only mission in life is to move closer to God, and know Him intimately as Jesus did. People called me fanatical, walked away — because the version of not knowing God's truth and being accepted by society is safer than pursuing the truths of Scripture.
They were not wrong to feel that. It is dangerous. Not to the believer. To the system that requires the believer to stay small — living below the standard that God has planned for you.
What the World Does Not Want You to FindThis truth is not hidden because it is only meant for a few. It is hidden because it is threatening to the system. A son who knows who he is does not need a system to mediate his access to the Father — he is uncontrollable. He cannot be managed.
The world needs you in the ego mind — achieving, proving, striving — because a person living from the Mind of Christ is not building anyone else's kingdom but God's.And it is for this very reason that when you stop believing the lies of the system, the system tries everything to derail you from your God-given mission.
When God released me for this commission, everything the world could use to stop it arrived without ceasing. Financial pressures. Sacrifices most will not be willing to make. Threats on my life. Coordinated attacks that tried to delete and sabotage everything God and I had built. Every moment carried the same choice: lay down the commission for what the world offered as security, or keep going.
I kept going.

Lost in a World of False Identity

Your Changed Life Is a Button Away
Is this "grace abuse" — does this teach that sin doesn't matter?
This question comes from a system that confused identity with behaviour. The root of sin is the carnal mind operating from a wrong identity. Paul's answer was not "try harder" — it was "be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). Behaviour is downstream of identity. Address the root and the fruit changes.
